In an increasingly dangerous world, woodland animals learn to co-operate in order to survive. In the third series, they faced their greatest challenge not from humans but from an army of bullying, imperialistic rats.
Based on the novels of Colin Dann, this innovative children's show brought depth and ideas to children's TV. Made by Telemagination in 1996, original scripts for all 13 episodes of its third series were written by Steve Walker.

Set adrift on a floating island as a result of global warming, a conscientious polar bear called Noah rescues endangered animals around the world and tries to lead them to safety.
This highly critically-aclaimed show was made by Telemagination in 1997, 1998 and 1999, originally for BBC/WDR, and sold to 20 different markets worldwide. It was praised for its characterization, imaginative story-lines and for introducing ecological themes in a way that delighted children. 38 of its 39 episodes were written by Steve Walker.

Long before Hogwarts, this serious folktale by the great Michael Ende depicted a real Zauberschule, school for young magicians.
Steve Walker developed and wrote the TV pilot in collaboration with Roman Hocke, for Haffadiebold in 1998, but it was never made.
